I've been using this for at least 15-20 years I believe. Use it to convert ripped wav files from my CDs to flac for compact storage on hard drives. Always worked flawlessly. I hope it runs on Window 11 when they finally rip Windows 10 from my desperate hands.
Use this to convert wav files to FLAC for uploading to the Live Music Archive. Works well and is easy to use. Love it and thanks to the developers! Would be nice if version 2.8.0 would not give a false positive on being malware when installing, but I'm not sure how they can get around that.
This is great software, very useful for the audio hobbyist. A couple minor gripes/moans: MKWAct had it right when it was configured so you could queue up any number of tasks all at once. Such as, create MD5,s (proper, nested ones, for entire directory trees) just by clicking Generate,... and then adding more Generate tasks for more directories into the queue while the first one still processes, without interruption. Not only Generate, but Verify, Encode, Decode. With TLH, I have to wait while one job finishes in order to start the next one - I don't think there's a way to queue them all up at once. This shouldn't be a fundamental change to the logic of any task, just a scripting capability.
